La Grange

The chalet La Grange is the most recent addition to the Terrasses Cap-à-l’Aigle. Its architecture highlights the site’s natural beauty. Perched atop a crest and surrounded by the neighbouring forest, this prestigious 2-storey chalet offers a stunning view on the St. Lawrence River. Inspired from the traditional regional barn, its familiar shape is entirely covered with vertically applied metal siding. Three volumetric cut-outs correspond to the entrance and the two terraces. These recesses to the main volumetry are emphasized by wood sidings resembling of a tree’s protective bark.
