Description of the show:
Benny Jones grew up with the forest at his back and the sea in front of him... But most importantly, he grew up surrounded by people who told him their stories. Rain or shine, over time, he decided to turn these stories into songs... Because songs help us remember the past and imagine a future... But most importantly, they bring a little magic into the present.
Winner of the Étoile Stingray award in 2019, singer-songwriter Benny Jones entered the French-speaking music scene in 2020 with his debut album "Parcequ'il m'arrive". Originally from Gaspésie and now adopted by the Magdalen Islands, Benny Jones travels across the province to connect with audiences, singing his stories and sharing his songs. With extensive stage experience including opening for 2Frères and tours with ROSEQ, he has received awards from Réseau des Grands Espaces and RADARTS at the Rencontres d’Automne du ROSEQ 2023. Under the direction of Martin Hogan, Benny presents his new album "Petit album d’automne… d’hiver", with early singles "Dehors" and "Best of de toi" reaching the top of the French iTunes sales and radio airwaves upon release.
