The quartet released their 6th album, "Layon," in spring 2024. Nicolas Pellerin and Les Grands Hurleurs have captured the hearts of both Quebec and international audiences with their modernized and accessible traditional music. Returning to their roots, the group ventures into a sound closer to acoustic instruments with careful and thoughtful arrangements while maintaining an organic feel. Drawing from folk and classic bluegrass influences, the band aims to surprise and resonate once again with this enriched traditional sound. Violins, mandolin, guitar, double bass, feet percussion, and rich vocal harmonies blend together to explore a multitude of emotions.
